Has anyone had difficulty getting pregnant when depressed?
I have been really depressed for the past couple of years, it sort of comes in spurts and then I feel fine for a while. A lot of days I don’t have the will to get out of bed. I think trying to get pregnant and having difficulty conceiving has just compounded the issue. I was just wondering if anyone knows of a link between depression & trouble conceiving, since all of my blood test results have come back fine.

i would say depression does effect when u want to conceive but after all its all GOD,S will when HE wants to give no matter what u r how u r, u get pregnant. HE is the 1 who knows better which is good for u.

yes it did have an effect on me. I had trouble for over 2 yrs trying to conceive .We ultimately decided to go the adoption route . That was the best decision for us then exactly 2 yrs after bringing our daughter home I became pregnant. FYI all my tests as well as my husbands test came back perfectly normal as well.
