If the quality of eggs retrieved for IVF is not that good, does it decline further in the subsequent cycles?
One of my wife’s friend did undergo her first cycle of IVF last month. Unluckily, the quality of her eggs were not very good, and only one egg was able to be fertilized. The first cycle was not successful, and the infertility expert told her that improvement in her quality of eggs for furthe IVF is slim, that once the quality is bad, it goes steadily downhill and does not improve. Is this true? By the way, she is 28 years old.
